Hello again! I am back!!! I have a huge list of posts to write including some very dramatic stories to update you with from my time in India (well I think they are dramatic)! Since I have been back I have started straight back at Uni and I am now in my 3rd year....YAYYY! This is something that I never thought would happen....I have debated leaving or doing something else so many times, so the fact that hopefully I am on my way to finishing really makes me happy. I am actually on placement 4 days a week now until March, working with youth with mental health problems. So far I am really enjoying it and it is something very different to my previous experience I have had before. I have also been super busy catching up and seeing friends. It was also my 22nd birthday last weekend and I went away to Brighton which was lots of fun. I have also started volunteer work at the theatre and have already seen so many amazing shows. I will be writing some blog posts on recommendations soon, so keep your eyes peeled. But first I am doing this post on my holiday in Italy with my family which was in July. ♥
If you didn't know already then an interesting fact is that my dad (Attilio) is from Italy...which makes me half Italian. So it probably isn't much of a surprise that we have been to Italy lots of times before. I am not just saying this because I have Italian blood but I absolutely LOVE Italy. I have been fortunate enough to visit lots of other European countries before and even though Greece and France are some of my favourites I think Italy is still my ultimate fave place!! Everything from the culture, FOOD, ICE-CREAMS, old historic buildings to the weather and people I adore. Every holiday we have had in Italy have never been a disappointment and each time I seem to enjoy it more. We usually always go to different parts and this year we went to the South to a place called Puglia. It was sooooo beautiful. We stayed in a villa which was absolutely gorgeous (well done Sophie for finding this on the internet). It had a lovely pool, lots of beautiful gardens and the couple who owned the complex were the nicest people ever. There was a Dutch family staying in the other villa when we were there, who were really lovely and had the cutest little boy! We spent quite alot of time at the Villa because the weather was boiling...they were having a heat wave when we were there and most days it was 40 degrees. We hired a car and I guess the only downside was that you had to drive pretty much anyway to get to towns, shops or beaches. I am going to post photos below (sorry but there is ALOT)! I actually took 100's but I have just selected some of my favourites for you to see. ♥

One of the bedrooms in the villa, I loved the dector. ♥
Nicest first day relaxing by the pool with the siblings! ♥
Walking round the beautiful grounds. ♥
Sophie and Ron who was the nicest, cutest dog belonging to the owners of the villas. ♥
Bruschetta made by my mum for lunch. ♥
♥♥♥
Me and George by a fountain in a lovely town we went to (can't remember where though)! ♥
Sunset in a town nearby with Sophie. ♥
♥♥♥
If any of you are interested then my shorts are from Topshop and my top is from New Look. I actually brought the shorts ages ago and could never find a top to go with them. I found this flowery, orange top in the New Look sale at Christmas and thought they would be the perfect match for the shorts! Oh and my sunglasses are also from Topshop! ♥
There is definitely something about sunsets which is so relaxing and peaceful. I love them! ♥
♥♥♥
You can't go to Italy without getting an ice-cream. I am such an indecisive person so it always took me so long to choose which one to go for. Doesn't help that they are all so delicious! ♥
RON!!! ♥
Views from around the villa. ♥
Me and Dad before we all went for dinner. My playsuit is from Topshop and my shoes are from Clarks. I actually am wearing similar ones in my Mauritius photos...but my mum brought me a new pair as she wanted the other ones (these ones have sparkly jewels on so are definitely more me)! ♥
There is always such a cute little street in Italy...perfect photo opportunities haha! ♥
All the family. ♥
Another of me and Dad...he does love a selfie! ♥
♥♥♥
Pretty flower...if you know what this is then leave a comment below! ♥
Another of Ron! ♥
One of my favourite days we had in Italy was going to a place called Alberobello and seeing the absolutely gorgeous Trulli houses. They were literally the most adorable houses ever and I loved that they were all white. Sophie is tiny so these were definitely the perfect houses for her! ♥
Can I live here please!? ♥
♥♥♥
Was soooo hot this day....I was actually melting! ♥
♥♥♥
These photos are making me so sad!! I would love to be back in Italy now. ♥
Can't be summer without seeing a sunflower. ♥
Flowers and sisters! ♥
How beautiful are all these flowers...anything brightly coloured I love. ♥
Productive afternoon sunbathing and reading Gone Girl (if you haven't read it I would definitely recommend it and watch the film too!) I also started planning some dissertation ideas....♥
♥♥♥
Experimenting with the Go Pro. ♥
Generally thought this was a real dog from far away when I was walking down the street! ♥
♥♥♥
One of my fave photos I took...my Dad next to an outline of a man which I swear could be his twin! ♥
If you know me then you will know how much I absolutely love cheese. I therefore could not refuse ordering this amazing platter. ♥
Thought this was cool! ♥
Getting a lilo was the best thing ever, it had so many usages...we also got a ring for the pool! ♥
Go Pro fun in the sea. ♥
Such a classic photo....me being the usual annoying one taking the photo, Dad laughing along, George thinking what an earth am I doing, Mum wondering how she has such a strange daughter and Sophie pretending not to be part of the family/photo! ♥
Kinder Bueno ice-cream...it was amazing! ♥
Our last night. ♥
Nicest restaurant. ♥
They brought us round these yummy little cheesy ball things as a starter. ♥
♥♥♥
My main which was a very yummy pasta. ♥
I don't eat meat but this was George's meal and I thought the flower decoration was very pretty! ♥
And dessert. ♥
♥♥♥
I am sorry for the overboard of photos but I just couldn't cut it down to only a few. Hope you have enjoyed seeing some of my favourites and also if you haven't been to Italy then maybe this post will have inspired you to want to go!! I have just remembered that although we did have an amazing time on the holiday we did have some dramas!! It's now 12:00am so I am literally falling asleep and don't want to bore you but I will quickly write them down so I don't forget. One night we had our car tolled away....it was very dramatic as we didn't know where it was....in the end we had to go a long way to find it had been taken to a big outlet place with lots of other abandoned cars. The next day we had to go to the police station to pay a fine! We got VERY lost many a times and actually other than that the holiday went very smoothly...unless I am forgetting something.
Thanks for reading and I always love your comments so feel free to leave one!!
XOXOXOX
