Valentines!!! ♥

As today is February 14th (Valentines day) I thought I would designate a post about what I did to celebrate valentines. I have mixed opinions about valentines day...part of me thinks it is to commercialised but on the other hand I like the idea of it. ♥ 

Last weekend I went to Surrey from Thursday evening to Sunday to stay with my boyfriend. We had a lovely weekend (even though I was ill with a cold/sore throat). On Saturday we went for a long walk around 'St George's Hill' which is a really posh estate, with a huge golf course. I love admiring all the amazing houses and wondering what sort of people own them. We then had a hot chocolate and a cake in Costa and watched 'Lost' in the afternoon. We went for the nicest meal at Zizzi's in the evening (one of my favourite restaurants) and then saw 'The American Sniper' at the cinema. This is not the sort of film I would usually go and see but as Alex had already got tickets I thought I would give it a watch! I was actually surprised how much I enjoyed it (even though it was sad in parts) but on the whole I thought it was really good. ♥

I love Costa hot chocolates! ♥

I had the 'Classic Caprina' pizza, which was soooo good! If you are going to Zizzi's and are a vegetarian like me or just want to try something different then I would definitly recommend this. It had goat's cheese, pepperonata, spring onions, roquito pepper pearls and baby watercress in. ♥

Even though I was really full I couldn't not get dessert as I have the biggest sweet tooth! This dessert was equally as amazing. It was the 'Chocolate and Nutty Praline Melt,' which was basically a warm, gooey chocolate pudding with an almond praline centre, with hazelnuts in. It was served with honey and hazelnut gelato. (Writing this now is making me soo hungry!) ♥

 I thought I would post some of my favourite red things for valentines below. The first picture though is the cakes me and my mum made today. They are white chocolate and rose water and coffee and chocolate. I can't wait to try them. ♥

♥If you haven't yet smelt Marc Jacobs 'Dot' fragrance you are missing out! It is such a nice floral scent. The body lotion and shower gel are equally as amazing.♥
