Summer Vibes!

Recently I have been really busy with uni work and placement so it has been hard to fit in having an actual life!! I am someone who really loves being busy but sometimes it is so nice to have the feeling of having absolutely nothing to do. Although Summer really isn't far away, before I finish Uni at the end of June, I have exams and essays to do (no fun!) But this hasn't stopped me getting super excited for summer, holiday planning and enjoying the amazing weather we have been having. I have got some random photos to share with you today of some of my favourite things I have been loving and enjoyed doing over the last few weeks. Just remember if you are like me and feeling a bit 'bogged down' with work then remember to have a break and do something fun to relax your mind.

Last summer when I was in America I picked up these adorable anti-bacterial hand gels from one of my favourite American shops Bath and BodyWorks. They not only smell absolutely amazing but they are sooo cheap! You can get 5 of them for $5 (less than a pound each). I really wish there was a Bath and Bodyworks in the UK...I would be there best customer!

Last year I fell in love with the Rimmel 'Wake Me Up' foundation. I thought I would buy this foundation again for the Spring/Summer months as it is a light coverage, gives a healthy glow to the face and makes your skin feel super awake! Also it smells amazing (definitly a bonus) and it is a bargain at only £8.99!

Myself and my friend recently had a yoga session. I felt so relaxed afterwards and it has made me want to start Yoga classes (which I have been wanting to do now for ages!) It is such a good way of doing exercise and clearing your mind if you need a half hour break from work. There are quite a few good yoga apps that you can download so you could practise at home instead of going to a class.

I love messy wavy hair for the summer! I plaited my hair in a fishtail after I had washed it, left it in overnight and this was the result!
Having drinks outside is something I love about the Spring/Summer.

How pretty is this tree?!

It is so much nicer to be able to work outside...definitly makes writing those essays or revising for exams that little bit more bearable.

My favourite food has always got to be PIZZA! Zizzi also has to be my favourite restaurants, so my friend and I treated ourselves to a meal out after a week of placement! This prawn pizza with mozzarella and tomatoes was delicious!

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a good weeekend!

XOXOXOX

  1. It looks so nice there!! Wish I was having a drink in the sunshine. It's been snowing in Montana! And that pizza looks delicious! There is a pizza place in my college town that is to die for. I'm going back for graduation and you just reminded me I need to eat there one last time! :)
