I thought I would write a quick blog post as today my friend and I finally sorted our travelling plans out for the summer! For ages now I have wanted to go to India. I just think the whole culture is completely different to anywhere I have ever been to before: the language, food, clothing, colours, buildings are what makes it so special and unique. Last year I had planned to do Camp America and unfortunately that never ended up happening (will maybe explain more about this in another post sometime). I wanted to make sure this year I had my summer plans sorted a lot earlier so that it was organised and I could get prepared etc! So my friend and I decided that this year we would go to India. We had originally planned to volunteer at an orphanage where my friend's cousin was adopted from but because the orphanage is now only taking a small number of children we were unable to volunteer there. However, I found another orphanage which one of my sister's friends recommended and we are both going to volunteer here. After this we are going to travel to lots of places...♥
We have a rough plan of what places we are hoping to go to and how long for. Some of the places we both really want to go to are Mumbai, Jaipur, Agra, Delhi, Kerala, Kathmandu, Goa, and Sundariji. We are going for just over five weeks so we should be able to see lots of places in this time although India is ALOT bigger than the UK so travelling between places will take a a long time. Also our stop over point on the way to India is Dubai; so we are spending the first two nights of our trip there! ♥
The beaches in Kerala look so beautiful. ♥
Really hope we get to see or even try some Indian dancing! ♥
Of course I know that lots of what we see is going to be extremely eye opening and thought provoking. But I think this will be such a good experience for us both. We now have lots of things to do before we go like visas and injections! Writing this post has now made me even more excited....only another 131 days to go!!!♥
Would love to hear from anyone who has been to India and has any travel advice, places they recommend or things not to do. Hope you enjoyed reading this post and I am very excited to post blogs of my time in India.♥
XOXOXOX

I am so excited to visit the Taj Mahal...it looks amazing. ♥
I love trying new foods so I am looking forward to lots of traditional Indian foods. I am not brilliant on really spicy foods though so will be sticking to Korma's! ♥
