Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend (even though it is not over yet!) As I haven't had work this weekend I decided to share some photos of what I have done. My sister came home on Friday night (she lives in London) so we had a nice family evening to start of the weekend. On Saturday myself, my sister and mum took a day trip to a place in Norfolk called 'Holt.' This is somewhere we used to go to quite a lot but I hadn't been to for a long time. It is a small town with some cute shops and restaurants. The weather was sooo cold though and also very windy! We went to somewhere called 'Byfords' for tea and cakes and had a look round the shops. I always think with some places like Holt it feels as if you have actually stepped back in time. It all seems so old fashioned and the people there seem like they have never gone anywhere else! ♥
I had an apple crumble sponge cake which was amazing. My sister had a date slice cake which was delicious. ♥
Lighting isn't very good here but this is us enjoying our tea and cakes! ♥
There is such a nice old fashioned sweet shop in Holt. I love old fashioned sweets. My favourites are definitly rosy apples, strawberry bon bons and rhubarb and custards. ♥
Thought these flowers looked so colourful and pretty. ♥
Pretty flower shop. ♥
On Saturday night me and my sister had a cosy night and watched 'American Beauty.' Even though it is a really famous film I have never actually seen it before. If you are like me and haven't seen it then I would 100% recommend it, I thought it was so good!♥
On Sunday (Mother's Day) we had a lazy morning and then went out for a walk.♥
I was finally able to wear this coat rather than my thick winter one (and I am wearing my snow boots!) ♥

Me and mum (and Digger!)♥
Mum made these absolutely AMAZING chocolate and salted caramel profiteroles. ♥
Hope you enjoyed this post! I always feel a little sad on a Sunday knowing that the weekend has come to an end. I think it helps to do something that you enjoy on a Sunday evening even if it is just watching a film or having a bubble bath. For me I spoke to one of my friends from uni last year on the phone Although this sounds so simple it was such a nice end to the weekend and made me feel so much more positive for the week ahead. ♥
XOXOXOX
